Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family
22nd April 2025, aged 88 years
Loved son of Gladys and Jim Maybury (both dec’d). Beloved husband to Marcia (dec’d) and special friend to Jacqueline Hoff. Adored and loving father to Kim, Kathleen, Kerri, Kylie, Andrew (dec’d) and Kieran, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather to their families. A loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and cousin to the Maybury families.
Esteemed contributor to Newcastle and surrounding areas, former president of the Astronomical Society of the Hunter and Kurri Kurri Landcare, and a passionate environmental activitist.
Family and friends are warmly invited to honour Col at a Celebration of his life at Weston Workers Club on THURSDAY 01.05.2025 at 2:00pm.
