With profound sadness,
the Sisters of St Joseph Lochinvar announce the death of
our much loved and cherished Evelyn,
former Congregational Leader,
internationally acclaimed author and teacher,
psychologist, counsellor, spiritual guide,
faithful friend to many.
After a long struggle, Evelyn died peacefully at
Baptist Care Warabrook
on Wednesday, 13 November, 2024, in her 90th year,
the 70th year of religious profession.
Evelyn was the eldest child of Tracey and Gwelian Woodward (both decd.)
sister to Margaret rsj (decd.), Dorothy rsj and Judith Crowley.
The Sisters of St. Joseph, Lochinvar and Judith and Bill Crowley and family
invite family members, friends, colleagues and former students
to join in celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial
at Christ the King Catholic Church,
388 Maitland Rd. Mayfield West
on Thursday, 21 November at 10.30 am.

at Hexham Bowling Club, 290 Old Maitland Rd. Hexham.
The Rite of Committal will take place
in the Sisters’ section of the Catholic Cemetery, Lochinvar at 2.00pm.
